4/17/2014 0 Comments Camera Ready! In the midst of preparing for my sister's baby shower, a baker friend of mine who makes the best cupcakes I've ever had, commissioned some fondant work from me: fondant camera cupcake toppers for a photographer's birthday. I've never done cupcake toppers before, so I was happy to do them! She wanted DSLR type cameras, so I did some research and looked at the different DSLR cameras on the market these days (specifically CANON) plus, other ways folks have done them. This was also the first time I timed myself working on things, because it was getting late and I really needed to get some sleep! These 4 little cameras took just a little under 3 hours, and i started to rush it at the end too. Here are the toppers themselves, and a picture of them on the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes! ![]() On another note: I got an Oakland Fire Department apron! They came in red, white, and black. I think eventually, I will have all three, but in the meantime, i went for the red one! It looks great, don't you think?
